This is the personal website of Shyanta Vleugel. I keep it simple: the site collects as little as possible.

The contact form

When you send the form, I receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. I use them only to answer you. The form stores nothing on this website: your message arrives as an email in my Gmail inbox, which Google hosts.

How long I keep it

I delete messages when the conversation is finished, and at the latest after twelve months.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics. Fonts are served from this site itself. Images are served by Sanity's content network, and the server that hosts the site keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for a short time for security.

The About page has a video from YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google's privacy policy applies to what happens in the video player.

Your rights

You can ask me to see, correct or delete what I have about you by emailing shyantavleugel@gmail.com. If you are not happy with how I handle that, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
